• PREMIUM MOLD MAKING SILICONE MATERIAL: Our translucent / white liquid silicone for mold making are tin-cured silicone rubber, also called condensation cured silicone rubber. The tin cured silicone is with high fluidity and easy to flow to every corner; excellent tension and tear strength; high performance in duplication; excellent resistance to acid, weather, temperature, aging;  ultra low shrinkage, suitable for both simple and intricate designs; stable quality, not oily, easy to de-mold.

• EASY MIXING & POURING: Tin cured silicone rubber includes part A and part B, the mix ratio is 100:(2~4) by weight. 2~4% catalyst will be freely offered to cure the silicone rubber. Pour the part A and Part B together, then stir the silicone mold making kit for 2~5 minutes, make sure to stir the liquid silicone rubber mixture thoroughly for better results. We will offer pigments added in part B according to your requirements to help us to distinguish if the silicone mold making kit is stirred evenly. Vacuum degassing is better to pump the air bubbles out which will support higher duplication times of the cured silicone molds. Our technician team offers working time and curing time adjustment services as per your needs.

• OPERATION METHOD: Tin cure silicone can be both poured and brushed onto almost any surface. Thixotropic agent can be added  would be offered for brushing if needed. 

• POT LIFE & CURING TIME:  Standard pot life is 30 mins and 4 hours' curing time under 25 Celsius degrees. As the tin cured silicone rubber manufacturer, we can adjust the operation time and curing time according to your requirements.

• CLEAN: If there is any spill, please clean with soapy water, detergent water or rubbing alcohol.

BBN C8 series RTV-2 tin cured silicone captures the finest details from any original model and reproduces that details perfectly in any casting. The condensation cured silicone is ideal for making silicone rubber molds for concrete products,  cement products, candles, soaps, wax, gypsum products, GFRC, GRC, sculptures, artificial stones, PU lines, PU decorations, urethane, polyester and epoxy resins, plaster ceilings, floor tiles, architectural decorating products, low temperature melt metal alloys, etc. 

Notice: We also have C7 series tin-cured silicone rubber with similar parameters to C8 series silicone. The C7 series tin-cured silicone will not bleed oil absolutely. We have a picture above. There are plenty of dusts on the mold as several months passed by, however there is no any oil bleeded on the surface.

ATTENTION: Tin-cured silicone can NOT make molds for food or edibles.

Hardness varies from the dimension and design of your product. BBN offers 10 A, 15 A, 20 A, 25 A, 30 A, 35 A and 40 A hardness for option. Generally speaking, 10~20 shore A are recommended for candles, soaps, small dimension & delicate designs of art crafts; 25~40 shore A are recommended for large dimension & simple designs of architectural decorations & sculptures. However, the hardness should be in accordance with your own using habits.
